The reference photograph for this landscape was taken in June of 2021 at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA, USA. Longwood Gardens is a very special place for my husband and me, it is where he proposed to me on New Year's Eve in 2015. We've visited every year, ever since. That year we went in June and decided to reach the highest point in the meadow in the back. When we were almost to the top we turned around and saw this view. I was amazed by all the lush greens, the sun-kissed browns, and the trees in the distance. I took a picture and when we got home I started working on this as soon as possible using any size canvas that was ready. This is the end result.
