Bring back lady boys

Under tones of acrylic paint to build the layers because oil takes a long time to dry for the first couple of steps. The technique used for this painting is fat over lean. Which is an oil painting process where you start with making the precious oils thin then slowly making them thicker and leaving the gamsol or precious oils out less and less after each step. Until you come to the oil paint alone to create the fat for ur last step of the painting. This is a portrait of myself sitting in front of a wooded area that seems to be creating new forms to appear as trees and mountains. The dress is inspired by the renaissance era. I’d have to say this is one of my favorites.
