Pink roses in a silver pot

The painting is oil on canvas. I carefully do the setup first . I pick up theese roses from my garden , placed them in a composition in a silver pot with some violets and a small cup. When I really like the setup , than I start with blocking the shadows and placing the object trying to do the finish from the start . Than I do the highlights and keep to observe and think in the proces of painting choosing what is important and what I like to put on the canvas .
