I had the privilege of serving as artist in residence for Rocky Mountain National Park some years ago. One of my many long hikes during my stay took me past these falls, which I painted not long after the experience. It was a rather small painting, and I've wanted to revisit the subject, larger, for quite some time. I finally got to it, and really enjoyed getting to delve deeper into this landscape.
