After spending the past several weeks painting the magnificent summer blossoms in NC, I needed a break. What could be more different from the lush landscape here than the deserts of Utah. I went to my vacation photos straight to Arches National Park.
I made several changes in the composition,as usual. I added the road to draw the eye in, centered the arch which was all the way to the left and added clouds to help move the viewer through the painting.
