Inspired by the tragedy fire in Lahaina in august 2023. I had an art gallery there for five years.. Lahaina’s welcoming paradisical spirit was so damaged.. I wanted to contribute to the healing of the art community and was inspired to honor the Banyan tree and help Lahaina heal with my rendition of this icon.
