This fortress of timbers created a welcome wind shelter while I painted out at the fishing pier in Martinez. The skewed towers seemed precariously tethered and bolstered against the strong currents of the Carquinez Strait in the San Francisco Bay Area. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord Panel.
