I had the opportunity to stay for a month on Ghost Ranch, New Mexico. The solitary nature of Orphan Mesa from the driveway caught my eye and seemed like a metaphor for strength and perseverance which you need as an artist. I painted this in acrylic on an old map of New Mexico
