European Escape

This particular painting is an ?acrylic piece on ?canvas that holds great significance to me. It was inspired by the ?island where my grandfather lives, it's called ?Unije. Each year, I have the privilege of visiting him during the summer, and during my journey to see him this year, I took a captivating photograph of the island while on the boat. As soon as I returned and settled back into ?New York, I eagerly sat down and began translating that photograph into a painting, capturing the essence and beauty of the island that holds such cherished memories for me.
