In this painting, the movement of heat within human bodies is conveyed through the use of color, evoking the sensation of viewing the scene through a thermal imaging camera. The images of two people are depicted as a unified whole. Upon initial observation, the outlines of each figure may not be distinct, appearing as a tangle of color and substance. However, upon closer examination, you can discern where the separation occurs and how the transfer of heat melds them into a singular entity.
