I see you

I made this drawing with charcoal and graphite on Arches paper.
The inspiration came from one encounter I had during a walk in the Dutch landscape, made of green fields and grazing animals, dotting the horizon.
On one of my outings, walking along the edge of a road, I met a group of cows grazing nearby. One of them, the subject of my drawing, immediately came up to me and looked at me for a long time, she seemed to say: I see you. I wish I could speak a universal language that could make me communicate with all living beings.
